How to Aftercare

Follow this guide carefully to ensure your tattoo heals beautifully. Choose your aftercare type below.

Steps to follow after removing the covering:

1

After two hours, remove the covering.

2

Wash your hands first, then gently wash the tattoo with warm water and non-scented soap.

3

Pat your skin dry with a soft cloth — never rub.

4

Apply a small amount of Vitamin E cream 2–3 times a day.

★

Do not rewrap the tattoo — let your skin breathe.

General Rules

• Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water.

• Avoid sweating excessively — it interrupts healing.

• No alcohol until the tattoo is fully healed.

• Wear loose clothing; protect the tattoo from sunlight.

• No swimming, tanning beds, or sauna until fully healed. (Shower in room-temperature water is fine.)

• Never use Polysporin or sunblock on an unhealed tattoo.

• Avoid heat exposure.

For the first few days, redness, itchiness, and soreness are normal. Excess ink, blood, and fluid may leak — this is normal. Scabbing, flaking, and peeling are all part of the process. Never pick or scratch. Healing takes 2–4 weeks.

★ If you experience any signs of infection or other abnormal symptoms, please consult tattoo artist immediately.

Steps to follow when a patch has been applied:

1

Leave the patch on for 6 days. If it falls off early, do not put it back on.

2

Remove the patch in the shower or under running water for easier removal.

3

Gently wash the tattoo with warm water and non-scented soap.

4

Pat your skin dry with a soft cloth — never rub.

5

Apply a thin layer of Vitamin E cream or Aquaphor 2–3 times a day.
